Course Overview:
The Lifejacket Awareness Training Course is designed for personnel operating commercially near water, e.g. construction workers, ship yard workers, Port authority workers, researchers and safety personnel. Equipped with manual or automatic gas inflation lifejacket and other PPE for site safety, however these safety items are only safe when used properly and in the right environment. The North 58° Marine course, built with over 20 years of sea survival training experience, ensures that your personnel are aware of how their lifejacket works in the case of an accidental immersion, and what to do in such a situation.

- Personal Flotation Device types and standards. Firing mechanisms.
- Selection and correct fitting of lifejacket
- Periodic maintenance regime. Inspection
- Auto inflation
- Manual inflation and deflation
- Cold water immersion and appropriate PPE
